Horseback Riding Adventure at the Colchagua Valley | Full Day
This morning you are going to meet your Pionero Travel guide and driver at 7.30AM at your selected hotel . You will travel approx. 2.5 hours south towards the famous Colchagua Valley.
Upon arrival to Santa Cruz, you will visit the local museum, one of the best anthropological and historical museums in South America.  Here you will learn about the pre-Columbian inhabitants of Chile and South America, the first European settlers and their way of life, as well as many other interesting details that will help us to better appreciate this region.
Later,  visit  the Neyen de Apalta winery, where you may find the perfect blend of tradition and modernity.  It was founded by the Rojas family in 2002 on the site of one of the area’s pioneering wineries dating back to the late 19th century.
The vineyards enjoy a privileged location within the horseshoe-shaped Apalta Valley: a small valley protected by the nearby Coastal Range from the winds that blow through the Tinguiririca River Canyon from the west.
For those who enjoy  wine and horses, we have created program with your host for a horseback ride to Apalta’s Natural Reserve.
Once on the route take delight in traversing the beautiful landscape of Neyen’s property with its fields of grape vines, hillsides of native flora and fauna, to the Chilean oak grove.

This is the perfect anteroom to reach Neyen’s natural pool in quiet surroundings where you wil enjoy a refreshing snack (cheeses, dried fruits, beverage).
After descending the foothills  enjoy walking through the hundred-year-old vines, stop to see the vinification winery, which is  where this unique and outstanding wine is produced. A typical barbecue lunch will be served, accompanied by this famous icon wine.
